Monday, 1st April 2024; Monthly gathering in Chez Sophie, Shrewsbury. Five guys with beers to share and stories to tell. US Pint can. Light haze in the orange body, thin white head. Sour with a citrus leaning, oranges mostly. Not really my thing, but nothing wrong with this, just my palate!

16oz can @ monthly tasting, Chez Sophie, April 24. Misty golden orange, small white head. Exotic orangey fruit with hazed texture, great fresh zesty definition. Great sour IPA.

Undated can, drunk 12/17/22. Lightly hazy, blonde-brass with a deeper bronze center. Small, white head to cover. A little more lactose in the nose than they usually show, but the hops are pretty well done, though surprisingly a lot of Hallertau, where I'd expect Citra to dominate. Some spice, herb, lush vegetal and only lighter lemon and unripe tangerine from the Citra. Clean (other than how dirty I think lactose smells) with no alcohol or resin. Soft and supple, juicy and sweet with more lactose than they usually seem to have. It actually works pretty well and the sourness helps here, as well. Good and hoppy with tangerine, lemon and lots of spicy, lush herbage from the Hallertau. Wouldn't want much more than 8-10 ounces of this, but before the lactose eventually fatigues the palate, this is juicy, sumptuous and well-done.

Pours slightly hazed yellow gold into a shaker. Bright white head with medium retention recedes leaving trailing sheets to pancake surface. Tart lemon, passion fruit and pineapple aromas. Medium bodied with sweet pineapple and passion fruit upfront turning to soft, tart lemonhead in the lasting finish. Quite a journey.

Straight from can during a friday evening hike. Color: Hazy golden, white head I presume. Aroma: Hoppy, citrus, lightly tart. Taste: Lemon, lime, hoppy background. Quite smooth mouthfeel. Medium body, just under average carbonation. Moderate sour, light bitterness. Very refreshing.

Hazy yellow, slightly orangy, fine white head. Smell is sour, some sweetness, plenty of citrus, typical Hudson. Soft, pretty sharp sour but not puckering. Tastes sour, bit of sweetness. Definitely hoppy IPA, just sour. Sweet citrus, very lemony. Tasty!

Can. Little Leeds online, I think. After a swirl it pours thick as a bag custard yellow. Fine fairly blotchy white froth. Nose has lime and lemon milkshake. Bit of grapefruit. Some sweet pineapple. Taste is sweet tart and sour bitterness all at once. Smooth and super juicy creamy. Fine carbonation. Lingering juicy tart bitterness to finish. None of that makes sense.
