Leftovers from tasting at Alex's (thx, man!). Pours a hazy copper with no head. Aroma is sulfur and sweet apples. Taste is very sour and sweet with booze and light sulfur. It's ok.

Light spiced apple with a touch of peel. Clear gold. Peel, tannic and a nice bit of acidity. Nice balance.

Sort of hazy, amber. There's a light syrupy apple and brown sugar note. There's a bit of fruity note, this has a nice brown sugar note. Good. A bit of tartness late.

Oxford Tasting, bottle
Amber colour, bright. The aroma is nice, a bit nutty. It has a warming alcohol character, sweet, not very syrupy, medium flavour depth, with tannins in the finish.
Not very complex, but good.

Bottle sample at Champlain Orchards, pours a clear caramel colour. Aroma is decadent, with lots of toffee, brown sugar, and caramel apples. Flavour is loaded with intense toffee, brown sugar, and caramel. Gentle apple acidity, with decadent depth. Fantastic.

Bottle from Hunger Mountain Coop. It pours clear deep amber with limited head. The nose is sweet-sour, oily, woody, sweet apple pie, marzipan, stewed apples & pears and tart tatatin. The taste is slick, bitter-sweet, rich sweet apple, apple skin, stewed pear, some warming alcohol, caramelised nuts and honey with a slick finish. Medium - full body and oily mouth-feel. Rich and decadent. Nice one.

A golden ice cider with aroma of sweet fruity apple sauce and light roasted notes, light celery salts, interesting. In mouth, a superb mix of sweet acidity, apple jam, light tropical fruits, very nice and complex. Well done. Bottle at Vermont Cheese Fest 2015.

Bottle shared by Steve. Pours clear gold. Nose/taste of sweet caramelized apples and confectioners sugar. Thick and sweet on the palate. Smooth.

Sampled @ Astor Wines. Least favorite of the three available. Why are honeycrisps never on sale? Galas everywhere at 99c a pound. This is the second or third cider I’ve had tonight made with honeycrisps. That’s the reason they’re $2.49lb everywhere. None of them were very good, aside from maybe being able to tick them like this. Syrupy, light maple color. Glossy. Smells of brown sugar, apple sauce, a touch of vanilla & some skin. Gooey honey & caramel sweetness. Just a smidgen of tartness & practically no acid to be found. Quite thick & fatty. Just sort of lays there though. Plop.
