When we first started Dugges Bryggeri, it was called Dugges Ale- & Porterbryggeri. This because, our aim was to only do ales and porters. Then one day, we got a request from a local pub to do a lager. Our initial reaction was no, but there's something enticing about brewing lager beers. So, we changed our minds and gave it a couple of test batch goes. Lager No1 was the result and it's been with us ever since.

330ml bottle @ Chez Sophie, Shrewsbury. Pours clear gold, nice white head. Aroma is lightly sweet malts, citrus. Taste is nicely balanced with pleasant sweet malts, light floral hints and just a touch of bitterness. Very moreish, should come in a 500ml bottle.
