Tan-orangey colour. Smells awful, full of phenols and sewage. Plasticy, quite sweet mixing sugary bubblegum (not bad) with those unwanted pedio-phenol notes. Blech.

(Draught at Lemkes am Schloss, Berlin, 24 July 2010) Cloudy golden amber colour with frothy, white head. Fruity nose with apricots, banana, hints of clove and a slightly sourish wheat character. Fruity, slightly spicy taste with notes of apricots, orange, hints of banana and clove. Slightly below medium body, fairly sweet. Quite refreshing.

06/03 Draught at the brewpub. It poured murky orange body with medium sized head. Sweet and somewhat sourish weizen aroma, mostly banana and sugary. Quite sweet flavor as well, fruity estery German wheat with some slight lemony sourness. Pretty simple, but pleasant enough. Medium bodied. Good, long sweetish banana finish. Pretty fine weizen, nothing special, but definitely better than most macros, although a bit strange with that acidity.

Draught at the brewpub, murky light orange with yellow taints, light aroma of banana and bubblegum, same flavour traits with some strange cooked vegtables and some metalic traces, light sweet and sour aftertasteand maybe some alcohol. Fair.

Draught at the Hackescher Markt location. Poured a murky orange body with a small white head. Gluey, acidic notes, dry and malty. Meh. The taste is sweet and eggy, acidic and lemony, lactic and better than the nose let on. Some fruity yeastiness, somewhat perfumey. Slightly acidic aftertaste. Ordinary, not stellar but one can have far worse.

100ml bierprobe at Lemke Spezialitäten brauerei , Hackescher Markt. Orange coloured body with a wheat haze. Thin, white layer at top. Smell of clove and sweet fruits. Quite sappy taste of apples and spiced citric fruits. Mid-lingering, bittersweet finish. Rounded mouth feel (Berlin, 23.11.2009).
