A complex blend of fine English Malts, Blackout is a porter ale produced from a unique 1930’s recipe which has only recently been recovered. The rich, smooth taste will help you relax and unwind, but treat with care, this porter is not called Blackout for nothing. We hope you enjoy a taste of the past.

(Cask at Euston Tap, Euston, London, 24 Nov 2016) Black colour with creamy, beige head. Roasted, malty nose with chocolate, coffee and a touch of vanilla. Malty, roasted taste with dark chocolate, cacao, coffee, vanilla and a balanced cacao bitterness. Medium body, with a certain sweetness. Tasty and well balanced porter. Nice one.

Cask handpull at Blackfriar London. Black beer lasting tan head. Chocolate aroma. Milk chocolate in the mouth. Sone Bournville chocolate flavour. A little one trick and the finish is a little grainy but ok
