We have brewed on this beer in a long time and we finally think it is a should. A very majestic stout with a hint of roasted barley malt, smoke malt, coffee, some spices and to top it all a drop a of rum. The beer has been seasoned on oak wood. This beer can stored many years in a dark closet or cellar, but is also ready to drink when it leaves our brewery. Buy an extra bottle and stash it for a special occasion in some years. It will develop like a god wine- only get better and better by the years.

Tap. Shared with Riveiro and Esgueva on the 10/05/2018 at "Lord Nelson", Copenhagen. Black colour with a medium tan creamy head. Aroma is dark chocolate, oak bourbon barrels, liqorice, tobacco and dried dark fruits. Taste is strong on the coffee and bourbon side with presence of liquorice and dark fruits on the finish. Next one please!

Bottle thanks to Mick. Pours a jet black color with a medium tan head. A big heavy rum and roast nose. Lovely flavor, more intense hot rum, dark fruit, ash, not on the big fruity side, very malty. Hot. Spicy. Nice beer.

Black with thin head. Aroma has lots of dark burnt malts. Some smokiness. Flavour is similar but a bit of alcoholic burn is present. I get a little wood but no rum. The harshness in the aftertaste is really heavy.

From the tap at FOB, Rimini, Italy. Pours black with brownish foam, limited and fine. Aroma is vanilla, coffee, nuts. Body is dense, with good stickiness. Some astringency as well. Taste is somehow sweet at first, immediately overcome by a good amount of bitterness. Finish is long, with a good residue of bitterness.
