Brewed with Pizza Port beer, this is a 10.5% hop monster of an IPA using almost every US hop we had in our inventory. The result was a highly drinkable balanced beer with a tropical fruits on the nose and the finish.

Cask handpull at Craft Beer Co. Yes a little boozy and yes may be better on keg but this is good. Aroma of sticky hops. The carbonation on the mouthfeel may be better. Big pink grapefruit. Slightly syrupy toffee but excellent.

Had this at Craft, Clerkenwell, Saturday 17th August 2013 cask handpump dispense. Its a bit gloomy in here so colourwise I am uncertain but maybe murky amber. Crikey this is a heavy beer that drinks far easier than it should. In the mouth it is citrussy but also with plenty of pine, some grapefruit and a little pithiness, but I just keep thinking that it just feels a bit flat, it really needs a lift. It is also a bit sweet and syrupy in fact there is a heavy vein of hoppy sweetness. Really surprised that I didn’t go a bundle on this, as I have enjoyed the Siren stuff so far. Will try again perhaps on keg maybe? A7 A3 T6 P3 Ov13 3.2

Keg at CBC Islington during the Siren tap takeover - London. Pours clear, yellow-gold with a fine, white cream head. Lemon and tangerine predominate in the nose. Medium sweet flavor with dry citrus fruits, pine needles. Medium bodied with fine carbonation. Lightly warming finish, sticky, with oily hops, dry tangering. Very tasty. Balance is better here than it is with the cask lime version.

Tap at the Cask, Pimlico, 13/06/13 thanks to Josh. Lightly hazed orange amber with a thin white head that clears edgeward. Nose is caramel, bitter orange, hops, good pine blast. Taste comprises caramel malt, bitter hops, orange pith, grass, bitter grapefruit, bubblegum. Full bodied, fine carbonation - pitched expertly keeping this big boy drinkable, touch of booze but well integrated, dry finish with hop bitterness. A well balanced DIPA, great on the palate, ta Ryan !

Craft islington. Keg Hazy amber beer, little white head. Palate is smooth and a little soft with mild fine carbonation. Creamy malt base, a little caramel. Fantastic hops here - light tangerine and orange with lesser marmalade. Sweet pine, touch of grass and a whisper of skunk. Mild tropical fruits, tinned. Smooth finish. Marvellously drinkable.

Keg at CBC, Islington. It pours hazy golden-amber with a small white head. The nose is pine, tropical fruit, orange, tangerine, sherbet, marmalade and varnish. The taste is orange, tangerine, mango, pine, big on the booze front, resinous, honey, light caramel and varnish. Full body, fine carbonation and slightly cloying mouth-feel. Yeah it is flavoursome, but I think the booziness detracts from the flavour. A big beer indeed.
