Clear golden color, with moderately peppery nose with a hint of funk. Mouth is nice and dry, but lacked much complexity. Well balanced and well made, but really lacking funk that I need in a saison. Still very drinkable and very sessionable.

750 ml bottle. Pours a clear golden color with a large white head. A sweet nose of honey and pepper. Big flavors: clean, peppery, light citrus, very dry yeast, refreshing. Very good. Dead on Saison.

On tap at Brouhaha, pours a hazy golden with a small white head. Aroma of light Belgian yeast, some biscuity malt - not a whole lot here. Flavour of Belgian yeast, some candied sugar and soft malt backing, no hop presence. Medium carbonation and lightly sweet (more than a traditional saison though). Decent, but not my type of saison - prefer it more wild and funky.

Wonderful. Pours with a big frothy head. Lots of lacing, cloudy blond. Smell has hay-like yeast and a little orange peel. Taste has citrus and bitterness. Soft carbonation. A faint sugary sweetness. Big bottle from Peluso.

"Saint Reserve Saison". Pale and hazy with a peppery, yeasty aroma. A bit thin but with a fair bit of spice and hop dryness. Not bad.

A golden saison with a thin lacing off white head. In aroma, a nice perfumey malt with coriander, paradise spice, grassy quality. In mouth, a nice smooth sweet malt with orange peels, coriander, silky and smooth. On tap at Festibiere de Gatineau, May 25 2012.

Bottle: Poured a clear amber color ale with a large white foamy head with good retention and some great lacing. Aroma consists of fruity ester with nice solid rustic Belgian malt backbone. Taste is also a great mix between some rustic malt notes with floral undertones and semi-sweet rustic Belgian malt. Light peppery and yeasty finish. Body is about average with great carbonation. Well done with good level of drinkability and great work on the fruity ester originating from the yeast strain.
