Lys brun tåkete med lavt hvitt skum. Smør, blomsterblader og lett humlelukt. Bitter smak av sitrus, blomster og humle med et søtlig fudgeaktig hint. Kort bitter noe oljete

Bottle fae Brow Dog. Darkish golden brown pour with a small white head. Earthy sorachi and sweet malt nose. Similar flavours with notes of spice and citrus. Satisfying bitterness. Smooth and very drinkable. A characterful and likable beer and one of my favourite offerings outta the Hitachino quiver.

6.5% bottle from Kyoto Isetan.great lovely deep gold color, decent head of foam & some lacing. Rich golden ale aroma, plums, fruits and a bit of malty butterscotch. Tasty flavor, full bodied, sweet, citrus, mellow, complex & hard to pin down. Really nice stuff. I think they nailed the style but in a smooth, mellow way.

Bottle from Cotteridge Wines, Birmingham. Poured a crystal clear Lucozade like colour with a bubbly white broken head. The aroma is honey malt leading to a weak bitter, vegetable like flavour. The palate is smooth and a little malty. Fine to taste, but I don’t understand the high rating.

Bottle shared at Dean’s sticky table tasting thanks to Jmgreenuk. Pours clear golden with a white head. Aroma of honey and grain, a little sick. Flavour is over moderate sweet and light bitter. Medium bodied with soft carbonation.

0.55l bottle shared with The Tasting Crew. This is a cloudy golden yellow one, absolutely packed with particles and a small light bubbly top. Really fruity on the nose with lots of citrus, grape and some cat pee. A bit "old" perhaps but nice enough. It's average on the carbonation with a soft oily mouthfeel. Nice flavors. Well hopped, packed with the same citrus found in the aroma. A bit sharp, bitter almost zesty sting. Both taste and flavor almost likely squeezed through a juice-press after they have made un-sugared lemonade. Nice within a boring genre. 06.02.2013

Bottle shared with (and great courtasy of) the Bergen Tasting Crew. Has a bit unclear golden straw yellow colour with a small grey-white head. Sweet aroma of pale malt, hay, cirtus, some hops and spices. Sweet is also the flavour along with some pepper and more citrus and lime. Theres some sweet corn too, and a nice hoppy touch in the end. Has a slick mouthfeel, and a light to medium bitterness. Feels fresh and is an okay golden ale with a nice hoppy touch.

550 ml. Bottle purchased for take away from Brewdog Camden. This spend some time in the cellar, so I assume that this is the 2011 Version. Bright golden with spotty white head. Smell is sweet cheese from the sorachi ace, less blue chess in this one just sweeter yellow cheese, butter in a good way, not from infections etc. golden fields of barley, sweet sugar summer fruit. Sweet yellow cheese Sorachi ace taste blended with some floral touches, sweeter punch fruits with sugar, white wine grapes, fields of barley, soft fruits, good way butter, light bitter spice in the back. Appears to have lost some potency and body with age but still very lovely and original.
