550 mL bottle with a "10.09" date. Pours a slightly clouded golden with a white head. Muted aroma hinting at citrus, herbs and spices. Flavor is pretty nice, with a very distinctive herbal quality that I can’t place, but I like it. I want to kind of say it’s kind of a buttery lemon oregano and parsley. Yeah, that’s exactly what it is, actually. Other herbal, spicy, pine hops. I’m a fan.

Bottle from CP&K at home. It pours straw yellow, with a foamy white head. The nose is hay, straw, herbal, orange and nectarine. The taste is herbal, fennel, straw, hay, bubblegum, umami, citrus pith and some alcohol warmth, with a big, dry finish. Medium body and moderate, prickly carbonation. A bit odd, but refreshing.

Bottle, split 3 ways, pours a cloudy golden with a small white head. Aroma of bready malt, light citrus and wheat. Flavour is pretty mellow, with bready malts, mild citrus, wheat, with some light lemon notes. Pretty mild and restrained, but refreshing and balanced. Good for the style, though obviously nothing extraordinary.

Tan, cloudy, only a thin layer of bubbles. Herbal, floral and a little bit perfumey in the aroma. Tastes a little bit oxidized with moderate bitterness and more of that floral, perfumey stuff.

On tap at Bierkraft, Brooklyn, New York, NY. A golden coloured pour with a small white head on top. Hoppy, citrus fruit aroma. Tastes citrus fruit, tropical fruit, some honey, slightly hoppy. Not bad.

Rather weird and stale aroma with some ash and sweetish honey. No hints of hops whatsoever. Flavour is hoppy and a bit weird. It is stalish with artifical honey aroma, some flowery spices and citrus. Also hints of ash and metal. Rather weird golden ale, more full-bodied and sweet than goldens usually.

A hazed golden ale with a thin white head. In aroma, a smooth herbaceous malt with grassy hops, mineral notes. In mouth, a smooth crisp malt with light smooth hops, very nice and smooth. Bottle shared with GRM and ProbstK. July 24 2011. Merci Sylvain.
