Bottle. Amber color, pours a huge head. Peach, citrus, apple and wood in the aroma. A moderate sourness, woody flavor. Apple, citrus, peach. Very refreshing and with some complexity. Excellent beer.

Leicht trübes orangegoldenes Bier mit geringer Schaumkrone. Geruch nach Citrus, Kraut, Gewürze, genauso ist auch der Geschmack.

Bottle from Mikkeller Shop, Stefansgade, Copenhagen; bb Jan ’14
The bottle is a slow gusher; it pours a hazy amber color with medium sized frothy head. The aroma is a bit saline, and I’m surprised to feel actually some apple; delicate wood, very light smoke. The mouthfeel is very dry; it has a little malt flavor, moderate salty touch, infinitesimal smoke; very light acidity too, and almost no bitterness.
Simple, but rather different and better than the Hickory Wood version..

Bottle split at Bruce’s pad, cheers to Paulo, 09/12/13. Murky orange amber with little in the way of a head. Nose is tarte apricot, peach yoghurt, orange, straw, earthy. Taste comprises pithy citrics, apricot, tarte peach, light apple core, straw, farmy. Medium bodied, light spritzy carbonation, clean crisp finale. Ok gose.

Tasting at Bruce’s pad. Thanks to Paul. Hazy amber beer, good pale cream coloured head. Light airy palate with light fine carbonation. Very light lactose and light generic fruits. A little sourness and a little floralness. Light fluffy finish. So this beer has no apple and the Hickory has loads? My head hurts. Mebbe a label mix up!

Bottle acquired via trade. Slow Gusher! It pours lightly hazy golden amber with a medium+ yellow-white head. The nose is musty, earth, spice, dank, brett, light Irn Bru and leather. The taste is earth, must, apple, pear, light saltiness, touch of Appletizer, tangy, wood and leather. Medium body, moderate+ carbonation and foamy mouth-feel. Not quite as good as the Hicory, but a solid beer nonetheless.

Light sweet flavor, subtly funky, a bit of tangy citrus. Light bodied with fine, spritzy carbonation. Cleansing finish, moderately tangy, some lightly acidic citrus. Nice beer.
