Cask at The Speaker, London. Pours clear brown with a fluffy, off-white head. Some roasty tobacco in the nose. Light to medium sweet flavor with baking cocoa, charred malts and mild dirt, which provides some bitterness. Light bodied with fine carbonation. Mildly dry to finish, with chalky roast and cocoa. A solid, low-octane stout.

Tasting at Papsø’s
Brown color with red hue; almost no head. The aroma is very yeasty, baker’s yeast, and some roasted malts. Some dark malts and chocolate flavor, with some astringency and moderate residual sweetness, some yeast too. Easy.

Bottled. A dark red beer with a thin tan head. The aroma has notes of roasted malt and soy sauce. The flavor is sweet with notes of roasted malt, and chocolate, leading to a dry roasted finish. Hmm.
