Gravity cask at Peterborough Beer Festival 2022. Pours deep brown with a tan head. Aroma: dark malts, caramel, treacle, light smoke hints. Taste: light to moderate sweet & bitter, burnt malts, light coffee, dried fruits, more smoky hunts. Dry finish. Medium body with soft carbonation.

Bottle: Clear, deep-ruby-amber coloured, big but very loose off-white head, dryish bitter-sweet toasty-fruity nose with estery traces; moderate sourish-bitter flavour, light to medium bodied, not really soft; dryish toasty-bitter finish with a slight acidity in the aftertaste. A neither-nor brew...

Bottle thnx to the brewer ! Pours dark brown, towards black . OK , rather white head . Smell is aromatic dark malts, rather coffee based . Taste is bitter , some coffee notes, as well as oats, aromatic dark malts in all their prime . Rather intense ( of course, within the bounderies of the ABV range ) . nice, easy drinking porter .

Clear very dark red - brown beer. Small tan head. Smooth palate. Nicely balanced porter. Dark malt which is mild and neither bitter or roasty. Mild tang and a good dose of lactose sweetness. Finishes semi crisp. Really nice light porter - could session this, and not come across too many porters like that!

Bottle from Beers of Europe. Dark brown pour with a reddish tint and a tan head which soon vanishes. Light coffee aromas with hints of caramel, dark chocolate, raisins and cinnamon. Flavours of cream, caramel and coffee. Has a wood aged feel to it. Bitter-sweet mouthfeel. Sweet, malty finish. Tasty.
