Bottle. Blonde, hazy. Citrus in the aroma. Tart citric hopbitter flavor. Hints of white pepper. Oily hops in the aftertaste. Characterful saison.

Hazy golden, with massive fluffy white head. Hard to pour. Dry malty, some herbal notes, light funky sourness. Green vegetable bitterness, unripe apples and lemon. Medium bodied, lots and lots of carbonation. Quite bitter and very carbonated, weird stuff.

330ml bottle. Slightly cloudy, golden colour with huge, flimsy, foamy, diminishing, minimally lacing, white head. Not overly intense, rather typical Saison aroma, a floral, yeasty touch, hints of chamomile. Taste is quite identical, dry hoppy; (too) lively carbonation reinforces the dry character. Paradigmatical for the style, except for the carbonation.

Bottled, BB 06 2014 (almost unreadable), large sample. Initially clear later hazy golden color, big rocky white head. Aroma of typical belgian yeast, westmalle I think? Bullshit to call it a saison, hipster style. Slight spicy, some spicy and grassy hop, coriander. Quite dry in taste, spicy yeast, hint of fruity sweetness. Decent belgian blonde, but a bit too dry and almost astringent in flavor.

Bottle at the brewpub, 30/09/13. Aroma is bready, lemon and light farmyard yeast profile esters. Clear and light yellow straw coloured pour with a persistent white head. Flavour is cirsp pils malt, saison yeast phynols, some lemon rind in the finish. Assertive bitterness. Frothy palate. ecent stuff.

Bottle thanks to Fergus at the Pre-Zwanze. It pours clear golden yellow with a medium white head. The nose is dough, icing sugar, orange, apricot, hay and spice. The taste is spritzy, orange, tangerine, apricot, hay, dough and some graininess with a dry finish. Medium body and fairly high carbonation. Carbonation is a bit harsh, but it is rather tasty.

Bottle at the Pre-Zwanze tasting - London. Thanks to Fergus! Pours lightly hazy yellow with a fine, creamy white head. Graina and doughy malts in the nose. Light to medium sweet flavor, some yeasty dough, light straw bitterness, lemon peel. Light bodied with lively carbonation. Sweet finish with further yeasty dough, light rindy lemon. Not bad.
