From Good Times Oakland, canned February 16th.

Pours hazy orange, small head of foam, retention and lacing are fine.

The smell is grapefruit, stone fruit, faint white wine, not so faint tropical fruit/dankness.

The taste is big juicy citrus, stone and tropical fruit, white wine, dankness. Juicy.

On the light side of medium bodied, I would drink this again. But no hurry.

Pint can de et partagée avec Tderoeck. Merci !
Canned 03 June 2024.
In fine, reste une belle grosse IPA américaine.

16 oz. can, pours an opaque chalky yellow with a medium white head. Aroma brings out tangy, citrusy hops, with some white wine character, and pithy stone fruits. Flavour is fairly dank and tangy, with lots of pot-like hops, tangy citrusy notes, some white wine, and fairly minimal chalk upfront, despite some muddy earthiness in the body. Tangy, citrusy finish, with subtle dankness. As I get further into this, the chalky body becomes more detracting. Good hop character on the nose and upfront on the palate, but the body isn't all that great. Solid overall, but still a chalky hazy.

Poured from a 16 oz can dated January 27, 2020. Aroma is very hop forward with lots of gooseberry, tropical citrus, white wine and tons of dank, resin notes. Light cracker malt notes and a bit of alcohol spice. Pours a very, murky, hazy, golden-orange with a medium large, thick, frothy, white head that recedes steadily to a small film that lingers. Moderate lacing and faint legs. Flavor is slightly sweet with light cracker malt notes. Moderately strong bitterness with light alcohol spice. Loads of hop notes - gooseberry, white wine, tropical citrus and dank, resin notes. Mouthfeel is medium bodied with medium carbonation. Low astringency and low alcohol warmth. Overall, a nice beer. Lots of Nelson hop character, though still a bit green. Man, I love this hop.

Draught at Gourmet Haus in Redwood City. Overall a moderate beer on all fronts. Slight tropics and pine. Missing a bit of the normal punch from cellarmaker.
