Tripel Karmeliet is a classic golden Belgian Tripel with a distinct character from the use of three grains.
Appearance: Rich and refined deep Golden colour with a creamy white foam
Aroma: Very refined & complex; with hints of vanilla mixed with herbs and citrus
Flavour: A medium-bodied beer that is delicately warming. There is a freshness from the wheat and a creamy mouthfeel from the oats. Rich notes and soft sweetness of lemon cake join with hints of coriander seed and hay and a quinine-like dryness on the finish.

Golden with a white head. Lightly floral, spicy, peppery, noticeable sweetness. Medium body with lots of tiny bubbles. A tad on the sweeter side but I’m impressed and glad I finally snagged a bottle.

Bottle. Deep golden. Malty, bread, fruity, full flavor. Taste is full, chewy, some booze, buttery mouthfeel. Not bad.

Bottle. Pours a slightly hazy yellow gold color with a big foamy white head. The aroma is strong with Belgian yeasts, cloves and cardamon. The taste, like the aroma, features cloves, banana, cardamon, yeasts and some caramel. The palate is full and the carbonation soft. Finishes long and dry with lingering spices. Overall: Decent Tripel. In my eyes it s the tripel against which all others are judged. Paired well with some Swiss beemster.

Pours amber with a thin frothy white head. Aroma of slightly lactic malt. Taste has overripe fruit, slight stone fruit, ferrous, like a heavier hefe base. Palate has some more fruit, banana, stone fruit, ferrous.

Klare goldene Farbe mit weißer Schaumkrone. Hefiger, malziger, fruchtiger Geruch. Geschmacklich hefig, malzig, getreidig, leicht hopfig, fruchtig mit Banane und etwas Vanille. Mittlere Süße mit mittlerer Bitterkeit, voller Körper mit spürbarer Kohlensäure.

How in the name of God have I not reviewed this beer? It's one of my all time favourites. Mildly sweet hay malts, sweet mildly bubblegum notes, coriander, citrus with clean finish. If you see this beer buy two, and send one to me. We haven't seen this in Ontario in 5 or 6 years.
