Light haze on this amber ale. Short lived bubbly head. Palate is crispy with fine carbonation. Sweetish malts, not too heavy. Light and pleasant touch of banana ester. Mild peach and a touch of marmalade. Mild minerals and mellow bitterness in the finish.

Cask, handpump at The Cambridge Blue, Cambridge Sat 14th April 2012 with Loz Nice golden bitter in fact this looks stunning with a pure white head atop. Touch of biscuit in the mouth, softness, touch of fruitiness showing, good beer that is being tainted ever so slightly by the black IPA also being consumed. A6 A5 T7 P3 Ov14 3.5

Cask at The Cleveland Arms, London. Pours clear, true gold with a foamy, white head. Doughy malts on the nose with some straw and gentle citrus zest. Light to medium sweet flavor, some lightly dried pale malts, dough, straw, some orange and tangerine. Light bodied with fine carbonation. Lightly dry on the finish, some sweet dough, straw, citrus rind, sponge cake, lightly toasted grass. A very solid beer. The Cleveland Arms always has its beers in just top condition. Great stuff.
