Bottle (lot 991, BBE: 04 2017, 3.9%), picked up at the brewery. It pours lightly hazy golden amber with a sturdy, medium white head. The aroma is fresh, fiery ginger, lemon zest, bread and cereal. The taste is crisp, bitter, spicy ginger, lemon, toasted grain, cereal, bread and soda water with a dry finish. Medium body and moderate, lively carbonation. Nice balance to it. Does what it says on the label and pretty well. Refreshing.

500ml bottle @ 12th Shrewsbury Bottle Share, April 15, courtesy of Blackhaddock. Pours clear gold with frothy white head. Light ginger aroma. Taste is like alcohol ginger beer, not unlike Marble’s ’Ginger’, with a fuzzy carbonation. Nice.

28th April 2015: a 500ml bottle I took to a Shrewsbury Bottle Exchange meeting: BBD Dec 2015. Golden pour with a white topping. The bottle says it’s a Ginger and Lemon beer: the label does not lie. Not really my thing but it certainly smelt and tasted very Ginger and Lemony: if that is your bag, go for it.

Bottle from the brewery. Poured a slightly hazy medium amber with a big frothy white head. The aroma is big ginger and a hint of citrus. The flavour is medium sweet with a super zesty carbonated ginger palate. Medium bodied with fizzy carbonation. It’s like an alcoholic ginger beer. If you like ginger you will love this. If you don’t, then.... er, you won’t !

ChrisOs Early December Tasting. Clear gold beer, good white head. Light dry palate. Mild lemon in the dry pale malt - hint of something ginger perhaps? Dry finish. Not bad.
