230ml on tap at Taphouse Copenhagen. Clear amber-red coloured body. Spotty lacing form a finger-thick, tan-coloured head. Malt-fruity nose, hints of cinnamon. Mostly malt driven taste of bread, caramel, and chocolate. Spiced fruity hints to the finish. Quite easy to drink. Not bad at all (28.11.2014).

Ruby color with small heads. English hops, smells like a stronger red ale. Bitter taste, a bit boozy. Weird bitter finish. Not really balanced. Smooth english ale carbonation, light-bodied. The aroma is nice, but the taste is really boring after the good aroma...

500 mml Bottle tasted on 02/09/2014. Copper brown colour with a little white head. Aroma of cinnamon, licorice, raisins and red berries. The taste is sweet with a lot of presence of the cinnamon, licorice, ginger and caramel. Aftertaste is prolongated with the presence of ginger and the licorice. Next one please!

Bottle courtesy of dad at his house, Rawson Green, Kilburn, Derbyshire (cheers dad!), Friday 21st February 2014 Ruby appearance with a nice pittle glint and an off-white head. I’ve not had a St Peters beer for quite a while so was quite interested to try this one and pleased to find I actually rather enjoyed it. Malty and a little sweet on the nose with a little nuttiness. In the mouth it is fruity but predominantly dark fruits a bit bready sort of bread puddingy with some spiciness showing. A nice beer. A6 A4 T7 P4 Ov13 3.4

0.5l bottle. Floating clear and dark nuttybrown almost amber colored in the glass with a minimum amount of a bubbly light beige quickly fading top. On the nose this is light nutty, notes of cake perhaps with a light roasted coffee tone as well. Also I get a toffee sweetness and a little bit of nutmeg and yeast. Not bad at all. Tastes alright as well. Nice and malt sweet all the way. It's full bodied with a good oily mouthfeel and an average carbonation level. It's actually not hard to taste the alcohol here and that bitter almost roasted coffee touch found in the aroma sticks in the taste also. Yeasty finish with more bitter nuts. Not bad at all, one of the better I've had from these guys. 16.11.2013

Bottle from the St Peter’s Brewery. Poured ruby with a thin, off white head. Aroma of caramel, orange peal and malt; not particularly overpowering on the Christmassy wafts. Initial flavour was very bitter with notes of citrus rind, grass and what I could only describe as Christmas Tree... or what I guess it would taste like - that aroma wasn’t too noticeable, until I put it to my lips. Finish was nicer, with some dry grain, prunes and brown sugar.

Bottle. Thanks Prowse. It’s a clear, amber to copper colored beer with a small, dense light beige head. There’s toffee and raisins on the nose, borderline oxidation, with a touch of of grass. It’s full bodied, lightly warming and with a nice level of carbonation. Mostly dried fruits in the flavor, with toffee, hints of sweetness and a nice bitterness lasting for some time. Quite dry towards the end. A pleasant one, far from complex, but tasteful. 140109
