Bottle pour. Quintessence 25. Served with some delicious Comte cheese, of which I had an unfair share, frankly. Yeah ace. Been after ticking this for ages. Can’t completely remember what it was like because I was a bit pissed by now.

[2019 Vintage] Bottle pour at Quintessence 2025. Pours hazy blonde with a white head. Dusty wine barrels and a bit of funk on the nose. Flavour has dry white wine grapes, gentle barnyard must. Very nice.
Sour, tart, fruity. Dessert wine, jammy, candied apricot, dry oak. Hard to describe how yummy with corale cheese. Amazing.

Bottle, 750 ml at the brewery. Cloudy golden with white head. Fruity, lots of wood, oak, some cork, medium sourness. Soft and gentle. Some bitterness in the back.

2016 Bottle at the Cantillon Brewery, 18th April 2024. Pours an off clear orange. Aroma is wood, barrel, liquor, musty, complex. Taste is intense, musty, wood, liquor, tart, you can taste the age. It’s lovely and mellow, classic stuff

750mL bottle, pours a bright golden with a small white head. Aroma brings out plenty of barnyard funk, tangy vinous notes, and a touch of leather. Flavour is tangy, with plenty of wine tang, gentle funk, leather, and some citrus. Very tangy, citrusy; unusual wine barrel character. Far from my favourite Cantillon, but this is very nice of course.
Karri, hapukas, puuviljane, tsitrus, happeline. Ok, huvitav jätkuvalt.
