Troubadour Westkust is a dark, almost black tasting beer with notes of hop, roasted malt, coffee and subtle hints of chocolate and vanilla. The taste is a balance between roasted malt and coffee followed by a strong but pleasant bitterness that slowly becomes more persistent and creates a long hoppy aftertaste.

Mycket gott!

Almost black with a big frothy head which remains. Looks really perfect. Black IPA aromas; very hoppy, lots of chocolate and even more cocoa, dark malts and some coffee, quite complex. Even some berries, maybe raisins. Flavour: some hoppiness at first which quickly disappears. Cocoa is very intense, one can really taste the beans. Malt is not too intense, alcohol doesn’t come through either. All in all flavour is mild. Finish is not too dry. Cocoa/chocolate lingers for a long time. Really nice beer, an IPA in the nose, not so much in the taste.

Hoppy aroma. A small but nice milky chocolate head. Dark brown color. The head feels like a cappuccino head. A little chocolate-like sweetness cover by combined hop and roasted bitterness,

mahogany colour, medium sized creamy beige head; aroma of cocoa, dried figs maybe plum, too, grassy and resiny notes, and hints oforange zest; taste is the same with smoke and earthy notes; not a typical black IPA with quadrupel notes, but still very good

Röstig süßlicher, deutlich hopfiger Antrunk. Steigender Hopfen, wenig alkoholisch. Würzig hopfig röstig bleibend, süßlich, dann steigend alkoholisch. Eher trockenes Finish. 11/11/12/12/8/11

Bottle shared with JMD at HNB 15.11.15. Ebony. Pale brown head and lacing. Aroma and taste of dark malt, roasted barley, chocolate, pine, dark syrup and tobacco. Quite dry. Scaringly high drinkability.

Nydelig. Overraskende lett å helle over drøvelen - her gjelder det å være forsiktig!

Marrón oscura, opaca, abundante espuma cremosa beige. Buen aspecto.
