Cask (Maidenhead Inn JDW, Basingstoke) - Amber in colour. Peach, apricot and sultanas in the aroma. Fairly bitter and hoppy taste with notes of tea and apricot standing out.

[Cask at Back of Beyong (JDW), Reading] Light amber, moderate white head. Some bitterness at first but gets sweeter as you drink more, with first grapefruit then vanilla and peach coming through in the rich creamy moutfeel. Good stuff, thoroughly enjoyed it!

Cask at Windsor locale beer festival 2010. A golden coloured pour with a slight white head. Nice fruity/peach aroma. Tastes malty, fruity, hoppy, slightly sweet, peach, melon. Very pleasant indeed, not usually a fan of Loddon but this one is the best that I have tried.

Cask gravity at White Cliffs BF 2007. Peachy aroma. Lasting thin white head. Really lovely fruit, white stone fruit flavour with then balanced hop finish. Lovely balanced beer between aroma, palate and finish and between hop and malt. Some juicy malt. Good pepper hop finish. Very dry. Some citrus and a bit of grapefruit.

Cask at The Monks’ Retreat, Reading.
A crystal clear pale gold colour with a white head; sweetish aroma with hints of orange; very fruity and chewy in the mouth with a sweet jammy consistency leading to a subtle bitter citrus aftertaste. A bit like drinking a bitter orange marmalade. Excellent.

Cask at Akkurat, Stockholm. Bronze colour. Aroma of hay and fruit. Sweet and dusty with medium body. A healthy amount of hops is there, but the hop frofile is odd. Lingering resiny bitter finish.

(Cask at Oliver Twist, Stockholm) Colour is pale amber, almost no head. Nose is rather fruity, malty and sweet with hints of oranges (or mandarines) and biscuits. Taste is fruity (apricots) with some alcohol driven sweetness. Drier and more hops towards the finish. Somewhat oily body. An ok english style IPA, but I woudn’t call it highly hopped, it wouldn’t suffer from some more bitterness to balance the sweetness.
