Bottle. Nose is malty, spicey, honey, , hint of toffee apple, yeast, bread, banana, caramel. Very appealing. Taste is malt, honey lots of spice, apricot, apples, autumnal fruits, citrus peel, vanilla leading to a yeasty, peppery finish. Mouthfeel is slick. This is a fantastic beer and one that is both underrated and overlooked. It has real balance and complex and subtle flavour profile. Superb.

Donkergeel bier met stevig schuim. Smaak is duidelijk beter en sterker dan de bio versie, bitter hoppig en fruitig, licht zoet en krachtig, citrus en abrikoos.

Hazy deep golden colour, a lot of tiny bubbles, small frothy off-white head, half-way lasting, good lacing. Aroma is malty, banana, orange, yeast, dough. Taste is rather sharp, medium sweet and bitter, malty, quite spicy. Medium to full body, oily texture, soft carbonation, aftertaste is bittersweet, herbal and spicy notes, bit husky, alcohol. More than decent Tripel, but too sharpish for my taste.

Bottle 330 ml. Golden color and excellent foam. Aroma: bread, coriander, spices and perfume. Taste: sweet, malt, sugar candy, perfume and coriander, alcohols, not bad.

Sampled @ Gents Bierfestival 2015 Trübes goldenes Bier mit einer ordentlichen weißen schaumkrone. Geruch sehr malzig, Citrus. Geschmack süß malzig, Citrus, Honig, leicht alkoholisch.

330 ml. bottle sampled @ 20ste Zomerbierfestival. Hazy orange, off-white solid head. Nose is lightly soapy, orange peel, multi-grain bread, spices,… Taste is multi-grain, a tad dull, orange peel, light soap, spices, bread,… Lightly grainy body,… A bit bland & dull, okay ‘though.
