Bouteille 330ml au Bières et Compagnie lors du Rallye Bières et Plaisirs 2014. Couleur dorée voilé, mousse blanche laissant une belle dentelle. Arôme de pommes, levure, miel. Goût de pommes, levure, malt, gomme baloune?, fruité. Carbonatation élevée, corps moyen.

The tripel in this series, peach blond with a dense, sticky head and malt sweet onset with fresh fruitiness and yeasty spiciness, relatively dry, aromatic hoppy finish. Stereotypical, but a very decent tripel.

0,33L bottle. Pours golden-amber with off-white head. The head doesn’t stay. Aroma is fresh fruits, tart, citrus, yeast, malt. Flavor is sweet and tart, citrus, acidic, spices, yeast, malt. Finish is lingering dry bitterness with citric notes. Overall: ok brew.

330 ml bottle at Taste of Belgium Restaurant in Palm Beach, Aruba. Pours an deep amber color with a dense creamy beige head. Wonder citrus and dark caramel aroma. Tasty burnt sugar flavor with yeasty notes. More citrus hops balance the sweet malt. Finish is smooth and chewy with more earthy yeast.

Vi fikk denne rett etter Slaapmutske Blond, så den ble kveldens tredje flaskeøl brygget hos De Proef (Mandag i annen juni-14): større fylde og mer bitterhet enn Blond. Frisk, tørr og farlig god. Deilig lys bæraktig og ren smak. Lekker. Et lite ekstrapoeng for fraværet av den sedvanlige tripelsødmen, dette gjør den særdeles konsumeringslett.

Pours clear deep golden with a huge off-white head. Aroma has notes of malt, yeast, dried fruits and some herbal hops. Taste is medium and medium bitter with a long warm, slightly bitter and herbal finish. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is fizzy.

Dunkelgelb und trüb im Glas, fester weißer Schaum. Der Geruch ist scharf-alkoholisch, schwer und angenehm süß. Schon im Antrunk ist das Bier interessant-komplex – Gelbe Früchte, alkoholische Schärfe, muffige Süße. Der Hauptteil ist schwer, mit einer deutlich muffigen Hopfennote. Dazu die milde Note der Hefe und die süße gelber überreifer Früchte. Im Nachgeschmack wird das Bier recht hopfig-muffig, dabei angenehm mild-süßlich und alkoholisch-schwer.
--> Eine interessante Aromenkombination, wobei mir persönlich die muffige Note zu stark ausgefallen ist.
