A moderate mango, lemon and bread nose. Soft golden colour with a solid, dense white head. This beer has a satisfying blend to it. The tropical fruit are subdued but tasty, set off by a slightly caramel malt. It hits a nice spot on the sweetness meter, offset by a peppery dryness that sets a nice balance. Expected more richness in the body and belligerence in the hop profile at 6.8%, but enjoyed drinking it!

Can from the brewery. Clear Copper pour, with a small white head. Orange oil, peach, apricot and tropical fruit. Hints if pine, with candied mango slices. Mouth feel and carb are spot on, bitterness is medium. Dried mango slices, fresh peach flesh, nectarine and orange zest. Quite nice.

Can - Black tea leaf notes and some caramel. Clear gold with a decent white head. Caramel and a touch of light hops. A bit old school.

Tasting at Matt’s, can
Hazy dark blond color. Some hop and some apple aroma. Delicate malt, some grainy character; balanced bitterness, no modern hop qualities, but some hop resins.
Nice, but nothing special.

Sympa.

Gold colour, bright, but with no head. Really wonky paint-like phenols, with floral action. Not actually that good - has some bitterness, maybe a lemon/spice note, but nothing is really coming together all that well. Too sweet and lacks the quality hop that I want in an IPA.

355mL can, pours a hazy copper golden with a medium white head. Aroma brings out piney hops and light tropical fruitiness. Flavour is along the same lines, with piney hops, light fruitiness and dry biscuity malt. Pretty simple, but nicely constructed. Pleasant.

Can: Poured a clear amber color ale with a medium size foamy head with OK retention and light lacing. Aroma of light piney hops and citrusy notes is pleasant. Taste is light piney notes with some citrusy notes and light caramel notes. Body is about average with good carbonation. Not bad but doesn’t stand out from the sea of IPAs.
