Dry Hopped Sour
The Jitney was a self propelled train, that made a lot of smoke, noise, and steam, travelling the short line between Oxford and Stellarton, passing through Tatamagouche. Tart, and juicy, Jitney is dry hopped with El Dorado adding tropical fruit flavours including pineapple and mango. This beer is going to make a lot of noise!

473mL can. Pours hazy yellow with a white head. Citrus, pine, lime, and some lactic acid on the nose. Flavour has lime peels, dry pine, gentle acidity, and a light juicy citrus. Not especially complex, but the dry hopping does add a nice layer to the profile; nicely done.

A lightly hazed golden sour with a thin white head. In aroma, nice smooth sour lemon with light resinous hops, very nice. In mouth, a nice tart mix of lemon, light resinous and piney hops, light pine needles, very nice. Can from brewery, 1 year old.

Undated AdamC-shared can drunk 10.13.18. Lightly hazy, white head to ring. Pale, lemony yellow. Nose is fresh-squeezed grapefruit juice and well-integrated lactic acid. Nice and clean with a strong aroma. Good maltiness and engaging carbonation with low acidity and a very lovely citrus and tropical fruit flavor. Clean not very lactic and quite drinkable. Good dryness.

16 oz. can thanks to Adamchandler. Color is a bright yellow. Aroma shows lime, lemon peel, and acid. The lemon / lime character with the mild acid and light lingering tartness is about what you would expect for a kettle sour. Overall, it really isn't my style at all but this certainly is drinkable.

On tap at the Stubborn Goat in Halifax. Cloudy yellow and a ring. Really juicy nose of tropical fruit and a little resin. Heavy lemony favour and acidity, with mild resin hops. Fair but of flavour on this. I like it. Hits the spot on a warm day. And what's with all the Toronto reviews on this one?

Clan - Lime and almost honey sour notes. Cloudy gold with a small white head. Lime, citrus peel and a clean finish. Intense, but it fades quick
