Glass in a random Chinese Restaurant, Victoria, Vancouver Island on 14th August 2025. No idea if it was draft or from a can or bottle (too busy eating to ask). Slight haze in the golden body, weak white head that soon departed. Nothing exciting or different here, just a steady Lager that went well with my meal. No strong aromas or flavours but nothing awful or nasty either.

330mL can. Pours clear pale blonde with a white head. Pale grains and a bit of skunk on the nose. Flavour has burnt white bread, grainy, boozy fermented wheat. Very poor.

473ml can. Pours a clear pale gold with a thin, fizzy, short lived, white head that fully dissipates. Sweet aroma of apple juice and floral hops. Sweet flavour of apple juice, rice and grassy hops in a crisp, dry, bitter, metallic finish. Light body with a thin, watery texture and lively to average carbonation. Not great, but average as far as GF beers go.

355 ml can. Pours a pale yellow with light head. Light aromas of grain and corn. Flavors of same. Bitter finish. OK for a gluten free, I guess…

Tasting at SF, Vancouver
Pale yellow color. It smells quite bad, a bit stale. Crisp mouthfeel, decent malt base, correct bitterness, somehow metallic in the finish.

330mL bottle, pours a clear pale blonde with a small white head. Aroma is awful, with lots of stale bread, cardboard and toasted grains. Flavour is fucking terrible, with cardboard and burnt toasted grains. About as bad as gluten free beers can get. Drain pour.

Very pale. No head. On the nose, it has an odd grainy note, hard to really pin down. On the palate, it's a bit thin. Sort of a funny back bitterness, but not much hop bitterness. They are clearly aiming for macrobrew here. Just not thinking that they were aiming for quality. There are some really nice gluten free beers out there; this seems mailed in.

Bottle - Touch of paper and sweetness. Clear pale gold with almost no head. Sweet and immediately bitter with a long bitter finish. Not pleasant.

This one poured a light yellow colour with a soapy, white head. Scents include apple juice. Zero lacing. First swig was probably the most watery beer I've ever had. Flavours of basements and antique books. Finish is a little hoppy. What can I say, it's gluten free! ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
