Oxford tastings
Black color, compact brown head. Some cardboard and roasted malt aroma, mild sourness. Good Imperial Stout base, there is good roasted malt, moderate sweetness, chocolate; but also a lingering infection.

500ml bottle at Alex's (thx, Alex G.!). Pours a vsry dark brown with a beige head. Aroma is brettsn, fruity, and some roasted malt. Fuck, it is infected. Damn! Still quite though.

Bottle - Soured dark malts and some peat. Jet brown with a rich brown head. Light soured dark peaty malts. Frothy and I guess a bit infected. I still liked it though.

Dark brown. It's a bit fizzy, so the head disappears quickly. Something's unintended here, because it has brett on the nose, and maybe some light chocolate. On the palate, it has a fair bit of bitterness, with a touch of chocolate, a little smokey. The body is fairly thin for the style, with some light fruitiness from the brett infection.

Bottle: Poured a pitch-black color stout with a small dark brown foamy head. Aroma of whiskey notes with some roasted malt notes and light acidic notes. Taste is a mix of whisky notes with some woody notes, acidic notes and some chocolate notes and residual sugar notes are also perceptible. Body is full with OK carbonation and light warming alcohol notes. Enjoyable but I would have liked this beer better without the acidity.

A deep dark imperial stout with a thick frothy lacing brown head. In aroma, nice chocolate malt with loads of whisky peat, musty character, light mineral notes, alcohol warmth, very nice. In mouth, a nice bitter chocolate with coffee grind, musty character, light whisky notes, peated notes, light acidity, pleasant and complex. Bottle from brewery. Version Printemps 2018: A deep dark stout with a thin dark brown head. In aroma, sweet fruity chocolate malt with loads of whisky barrel, dark fruits, molasses, alcohol warmth, very nice. In mouth, a nice sweet chocolate malt with light grassy hops, light licorice, alcohol warmth, dark fruits, very nice. On tap at brewery. 8-4-8-4-15
