Super crisp and clear copper and bronze coloured body with a nice two to three centimetre tall off-white head that stays afloat nicely. Aroma of very subdued malt, some light caramelised sugar, a touch of toffee, a hint of floral elements and a very dry hop bite, but not showing any alpha acids at all. Light to Medium-bodied; Good crisp biscuity malt that shows a lot of bready and floral components, but a strong yeast bite right behind that doesn't leave any alternatives in the flavours aside from some more sugars, a dry bite and a hint of some light hops without any of the alpha acids again, these just show some soft floral characteristics. Aftertaste is crisp, dry, malty and very yeast/bread-forward without any real complexity or range - more like a slightly dry amber ale than anything else with a dash of flowers and sugars, but not akin to other saisons, and no real fruit noticeable at all. Overall, a decent beer, but that's just considering that I purchased this can halfway around the world, then flew the other half around the world just to get back here, then stored it for a further three years, THEN sampled it. But considering that, this beer definitely wasn't worth that trouble! I sampled this sixteen ounce, pint-sized can, purchased from the Turnpike Shell Station in Hagatna, Guam, United States of America on 22-July-2017 for US$3,50 sampled back at home in [the real] Washington, almost as far as you can go back in the USA.

Tasting at Matt’s, can
Cloudy blond color. Some Saison yeast aroma. Moderately sour, interesting spicy profile, some citrus fruit, while the mango is more evident in the finish.
Very nice.

On tap. Pours a dark hazy amber with moderate head. Aromas of bright tropical fruit and sweet malts, Flavors of same with melons, pithy citrus and perfume. The latter is odd...

Draught, St. Augustine’s. Hazy, pale. Not much head. Little bit of tartness. Tart, but mildly so. A little pear taste. It’s ok but sort of a very light beer.

500mL can, pours a cloudy bright yellow with a small white head. Aroma brings out lots of mangoes and orange zest upfront, with a touch of tart pithy fruit. Flavour is very fruity, with the mangoes and orange zest in good combination, with some light lacto and light tartness. Fruity on the finish, but not particularly complex. Good.

Can. It pours a light hazed yellow color with a white head. The aroma has solid wheat notes and hints of mango and lacto. Citrusy, but no hops. The flavor has lots of wheat and very mild lacto tartness. More wheaty than sour. Good carbonation. Light mango, orange and lemon notes. It has a somewhat creamy mouth feel, but finishes on a refreshing wheat note. Seemed kinda boring at first, but this one really grew on me.
