500ml brown bottle (used to their cans) that pour a dark brown colour with hardly any highlights. The head looks like cola head, fizzy, bubbly, going down quick enough and just leaving a coating on the side and round in the middle. Aromas of roasted malts, chocolate, molasses, coffee and berries. The taste shows the mild sourness that last the whole way. The roastiness is always in the back as well, lingering a little after the sour notes are gone, with some burnt hints, like coffee. I am not a huge fan of sour ales, as I had many infected beers when I started, and gives me a little bit that feel. I must say though that this one about as best as one can mix both style together. Another very well-brewed beer from this brewery.

Espace Publique Biere de Driveway 5% Inky black with a roasty chocolate aroma. Very dry light body, tangy acidic sour berry flavor. Not bad. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Draft: Poured a black color stout with a medium size brown foamy head. Aroma of light sour notes with some roasted malt notes. Taste is a mix of roasted malt notes with some tart notes and a dry finish. Body is about average with good carbonation. Easily drinkable with just enough complexity.

Bottle - Soured dark malts and cola bites. Jet black with a rich light brown head. Soured dark malts, light acidity and some nice roast. Simple but clean.

A deep dark stout with a thin brown head. In aroma, chocolate and coffee malt with light Brett, light lactic notes, light cork character, some ground cherries, pleasant. In mouth, chocolate malt with aggressive lactic notes, light Brett, ground cherries, OK. On tap at Festibière d’hiver de Gatineau, 2017.
