Bottle at De Struise shop, Bruges. It pours near black with a thick light tan head. The nose is vinous, dark fruit, jam, roasted malt, wood and toasted coconut. The taste is roasted malt, toast, earth, liquorice, chocolate, decent bitterness, vinous, white grape, light tang and light alcohol warmth with a dry finish. Full body and moderate carbonation. Big on flavour! Rather tasty.

Bottle courtesy of Kermis. Poured a deep mahogany with a thin tan head. The aroma is red berry fruit and a little malt. The aroma is big fruit with malt. The flavour is fruity with some alcoholic liqourice and yeast. Smooth with some co2 on the palate which really made the beer.

Bottle. It pours a dense, big, dark beige head over a lightly unclear, glowing dark brown body with a reddish hue. Roasted aroma with brett and some vinous notes. Licorice, molasses, some coffee and a hoppy hint. The flavor is sure roasted, with a pleasant brett and vinous touch. Slightly spiced and peppery, with chocolate and some coffee. Full body, pleasant carbonation. Lasting finish, vinous and brett-ish. Quite wonderful. 130504
