Dark brown pour, large beige head. Loads of dark fruit, and bready malts, with some really nice citrus, but some light toffee too. Dark bread, and yeast, great mouth feel, and good carb. Finish is slightly funky with a dry dubbel like mineral finish. Light bitterness, subtle fruit, with some solid grassy hops, and light funk.

Medium brown, pours bright, and has a medium head. The aroma shows some darker fruits, along with some brett. Cocoa notes on the palate, touch of raisin, touch of brett, and it’s a bit yeasty. Not my type of beer, and not good enough to overcome that.

Pours a dark amber-copper colour with a beige cap that is big, lasting a while and with good lacing. Funky aromas of the Brett yeast with some roasted barley, giving caramel notes. Earthy with some sourness, even in the taste. The roasted malt lingers with light tart. The dark aspect of this brew adds nicely to the Brett funk.

This is an interesting beer: it's good for a saison b/c the sourness, but it's well below avg for a sour beer. In the end it lands somewhere in between okay and good. Woody mild sourness is how I would describe it. Bottle from Sherbrook. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

J’ai été vraiment surpris par celle-ci. C’est tourbeux, juste assez acide et étrangement fumé. Chapeau pour l’innovation, c’est super bien fait! Aucunement conventionnel mais tout est tellement bien intégré.

Bottle - Light funk, earthy notes and some raisin. Deep brown with a beige head. Funky, light toast and dark malts with a dirty piney finish. Not a huge fan of this.

Bottle at Farmhouse Festival Vancouver, pours a deep dark mahogany with a small beige head. Aroma brings out notes of earth and a touch of rustic Belgian yeast. Flavour is bizarre, with earthy notes, dirt and perfumey notes. Hard to think this was intended. Earthy and nail polishy on the finish. Meh.

A reddish brown ale with a thin mocha head. In aroma, nice fruity caramel malt with nice Brett notes, light grassy hops, light mineral notes, smooth and pleasing. In mouth, a nice caramel malt with Brett, light ground cherry, light lactic notes, very nice. On tap at Brouhaha Ahuntsic.

Bottle: Poured a clear dark color ale with a large light brown foamy head with good retention and some lacing. Aroma of roasted malt notes with quite a bit of tart notes. Taste is also a mix between some dry roasted malt notes with some oak and brett notes with a tart finish. Body is about average with good carbonation. Well brewed but not sure I see myself drinking tart dark saison on a regular basis.
