This really isn’t fair - comparing this massive IS resulting from three of the best ISs coming out of Europe to other regular production beers. The price is out of this world as well. But that said, this is a great brewing accomplishment, which isn’t always the case with \"All Star\" products like this one. The nose has more elements than any I have tested before - Tar, liquorice, roasted malt, Cream, and burnt butter on top of some earthy hops.Those nose elements follow through into the taste profile, complimented by bittering hops with tropical fruit, Cocao nibs, coffee, roasted caramel, dark berries and molasses. A rich, oily, viscous body coats the mouth with alcohol warmth. Delicious.

Abv 15,2 %. Aroma of roasted malts, molasses, dried red fruits, coffee, peat, dark chocolate. Flavour is very roasty, peaty, more coffee and dark chocolate, medium to heavy sweetness, some alcohol warmth. Very tasty Imperial Stout, I enjoyed this much better than BrewDog’s ’regular’ Tokyo* Imperial Stout.

Monday 5th August 2024, the last Minutemat led Shrewsbury Beer Gathering, five guys, loads of beer and bollox. Cheers Mat for dragging this out of your stash after 11 years in it's box. Moody black body, beige crust on top. Soft and smooth boozy Stout blend, hadn't lost any of it's oomph or depth, nice all round.

330ml bottle @ final beer tasting, Chez Sophie, Aug 24. 11 year aged. 15.1%. Fantastic. Excellent depth. Wonderful. Lovely subtle deep sweetness on the finish. Great way to finish 10 years of our beer share 🎉

Bottle from The Star & Garter, Bromley. Black pour no head. Nose is bourbon, cola, dark fruits, touch of Port. Taste is full on Port, red grape, plum jam, bourbon, touch of caramel. Rich warming finish.

0,3 litre Bottle, at a share. Dark brown with little head. Roasted malts, coffee, smoke, Chocolate, Smooth!

Taste: heavy sweet & bitter, light to medium sour, dark chocolate, espresso, liquorice, vanilla, prunes, light cherry, booze. Full body with light carbonation, thick oily mouthfeel. Complex beaut
