Hazy orange pour, large white head. Slightly skunky aroma, subtle citrus, and some light spicy hops. Very light cereals, and some alcohol too. The body an mouthful are solid, if anything the mouthful is a touch thick. The finish is super dry and there really isn’t much going on. All the hops fade to nothing. Just the slightest citrus, and a short very dry, highly bitter end.

Very hazy golden and straw orange and copper tinted body with a thinnish, single centimetre tall tan head. Aroma of fresh hops, citrus, grass, pine, flowers and quite a bit of bread and malt notes throughout. Medium-bodied; Mild malt flavours at first with a tiny amount of hops with a little sweetness and a lot of bread and yeastiness. Aftertaste is fairly weak and mild with only some flowers, yeast and bread coming through - even that is watery. Overall, a pretty poor offering throughouht with some grass, but mostly a touch of hops and a lot of bread and yeastiness with no complexity and no real strong flavours. This definitely isn’t an Imperial IPA (you could tell that from seeing 7,0% abv) and isn’t worth trying nor bringing home in your suitcase, like I did! I sampled this 473 mL can purchased from Marche des Saveurs du Quebec in Montreal, Quebec, Canada on 14-February-2016 for CA$2,95 sampled at home in Washington on 04-June-2016.

Can. Cloudy orange amber with a two finger white head that leaves sparse lace. Nose is citrus and mango with light toffee. Light sweet and a moderate citrus bitterness. Medium creamy mouth with average carbonation. Well balanced with the alcohol well integrated.

Pours a hazy golden-amber colour with a big white head, good retention and some dirty lacing. Nice fresh grass aromas from the hops with some citrus zest notes. The taste is hoppy, but not as bitter with hints of oranges and the malts showing a little more. Nice cereal overall. The finish gets dryer. This goes down nicely and I enjoy the hops used. I like this Imperial IPA.

Can - Caramel, some buttery notes and orange. Cloudy copper with a decent white head. Caramel, butterscotch sweetness and some hop bitterness. OK.

Can: Poured a clear amber color ale with a large foamy head with good retention and some lacing. Aroma of citrus and light resin notes is quite dominant and enjoyable. Taste is dominated by citrus oriented flavors with some resins notes and some sweet malt with a light caramel touch. Body is about average with good carbonation. Light bitterness notes were noticeable but somewhat offset by the residual sugar notes. Doesn’t break nay new ground but well brewed and quiet enjoyable.

Served in a Duvel glass. A cloudy orange-gold. A clean bitter biscuit aroma. A really tasty bready, biscuit, pine needle flavor. Fairly full bodied with a clean satisfying taste.

A hazed golden DIPA with a thick off white head. In aroma, caramel malt with butterscotch notes and floral hops, OK. In mouth, a nice caramel malt with herbaceous floral hops, light butterscotch, alcohol warmth, nice. On tap at Festibière de Gatineau 2014.
