Bomber from the lcbo. Dark brown pour, beige head. Sweet bready, caramel, sherry malt aroma. Good cereal flavors, dry grass, and straw flavors also. Medium bitterness, subtle fruity malt finish. A nice sipper.

Dark brown color with small brownish head. Boozy stale beer aroma. The flavor is also quite stale, too much alcohol, and the body thin; I feel like I’m drinking industrial beer, not bad though.

650mL bottle, pours a deep dark brown / black with a small tan head. Aroma brings out English malts, some dark fruits and dusty earthy notes. Flavour brings out bready malts and dark fruits, but it's pretty laid back. Not a very cohesive beer, but it's pleasant and inoffensive. Okay.

Bottle - Plum and raisin with a some sweetness. Deep jet maroon with a bit of a beige head. Sweet raisin and dark sugar malts.. Nice and balanced dark sugars.

Slightly muddy moderate brown. The aroma has caramel, a little toffee, not much going on. The palate has more life - stewed fruits, alcohol spice, toffee, light molasses, wood, let down only by a little bit of a thin finish.

Single bomber from the LCBO. Pours a dark brown colour with some light debris floating around. The head is nice and frothy with a beige colour, good retention and creamy-foamy lace. Big coffee nose at first pour, but the plum and other dark fruits come out. Eventually, it becomes rusty water over caramel. Silky mouthfeel with a nice little warming, but no burning. Roasted malt taste with some mild bitterness, hints of chocolate and light cereals. Goes down nicely and decent to try, but not something I would have again.

Bottle: Poured a clear copper color ale with a medium size foamy head with light retention and almost no lacing. Aroma consists of unrefined grainy notes with some light sugar notes. Taste is also dominated by unrefined grainy notes with light residual sugars notes. Body is quite light with medium carbonation. The unrefined grainy notes are really not pleasant and kind ruins the effort here.

Bottle from the LCBO. Pours a very dark reddish brown with a small whit head that leaves little lace. Nose is chocolate, nuts, plums and caramel. Sweet bready taste with some bitter notes in the middle and a dry smoky finish.Medium slick body with average carbonation.

A deep dark brown ale with a thin mocha head. In aroma, nice caramel malt with treacle, butterscotch, musty. In mouth, a sweet fruity dark malt with raisins, vinous character, licorice, a bit light but nice. Cask Days 2013.
