to be honest, i thought the waitress had brought me a tankhouse when i had this at the brewpub. they look the exact same, and the only different is a SLIGHT difference in maltiness.

Soft cane sugar aroma and small head on a clear copper body. Kind of a candyish nut flavour and dry finish. Not bad at all.

Good malty oktoberfest fit to be drank by the one litre stein served by blonde, big-breasted madchens by the handful. Pours amber without head or lacing. Finishes with sweet malt. Good for session. Tap at Ottawa brewpub.

Draft - Very fruity with the grains coming through in the end. Clear gold with a thin white head. Bready with a grain finish. Very light in flavour and spice. Easy drinking and on the light side with a big of sweetness.

Bottle: Poured a clear light brown color ale with a large foamy head with good retention and minimal lacing. Aroma of light caramel malt with light biscuit malt notes. Taste is dominated by medium caramel malt with a dryer aftertaste and some light chewy biscuit malt. Body is about average with good carbonation. Not bad but came a bit short in terms of malt backbone.

Draught at the brewpub
Amber color. The aroma is a bit stale, dirty water; then some malt. Good body, the mouthfeel is expectedly round, there is some malt flavor and a light cereal character, with the correct bitterness.
By the book.
