Wheat ale brewed with spices and spice added.

White Capped and Lively – the frothy white head of this distinctive nitro brew softly cascades into bright gold. The first sip reveals a smooth velvety taste with a light wheat character and hints of orange while an undercurrent of peppery spice adds a bright finish.

Smooth as silk. I don't see how cody doesn't like it.

"Nitro" and "White Ale" go together like toothpaste and orange juice. White ales need the perky, Belgian-esque carbonation; bottle-conditioning is what makes the greats--Allagash and Hitachino Nest come to mind--so alluring. Putting a white ale on a nitro tap accentuates everything you hate about the style--too sweet, with a corny, coriander-laced placidity drowning your palate with dull, wheat-tinged doldrums. And the slick mouthfeel leaves you craving any sort of hoppy bitterness to break up the oily, oozing blahness coating your tongue. Still, the cascade is pretty...

Can to pint glass.
The appearance was a hazy burnt/ruddy orange almost cloudy brown color. Finger’s worth of white foamy head Dissipates at a nice pace. Light messy lacing.
The aroma starts off with sweet smooth witbier traits of malty breadiness, subtle grassiness, light pepper (can’t tell if black or white), but some kind of pepper.
The flavor leaned to the sweet side of the bready wheat, malty, then lightly spiced. Nitro really makes it damn smooth riding into the finish.
On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium on the body with a nice sessionability about it. Carbonation rides fairly light. Super smooth all around.
Overall, as a witbier it works. Might not be anything over the top, but definitely SA gets the nitro to make it smooth.

Can sample at a tasting at Max’s place. Thanks avrashi. Hazy orange with a white head. Aroma of cardboard, coriander, orange peels. Sweetish flavor with wheat, cardboard, orange, some coriander, a bit of rosewater and pepper. Light-bodied.

Tallboy can from a four pack bought at the grocery store. Aroma is perfumy, banana, orange peel, grain. Pours murky orange with a thick cream-colored nitro head that unfurls with a volcanic cascade of bubbles typical of these widget cans. Taste is sweet, spicy, orange peel, a bit metallic. Typical nitro flat carbonation, creamy mouthfeel. Not a huge nitro fan, but this is better than a lot of them.

Clear golden coloured body with a thinnish, single centimetre tall white microfoamed head - pure nitrogen. Aroma of very mild wheat, coriander seed, curacao, yeast and a touch of grain. Light-bodied; Strong grassy and yeastie flavour with some wheat, herbs, spices and a touch of alcohol. Very mild finish with only some grass, hay, curacao and malt noticeable. Overall, a decent beer at best - some nice white flavours, but the nitrogen seems like a gimmick, although it was okay and still nice to try. I sampled this sixteen ounce can (with widget integrated into the bottom of the can) purchased from Giant in Falls Church, Virginia on 16-June-2016 for US$1,99 sampled at home in Washington on 17-July-2016.

15 ounce can, 2/27/16.Hazy orange, large foamy white head. Good retention. Aroma of wheat, citrus and mango. The taste is coriander, floral notes, wheat, citrus. Thin bodied, creamy. Normally I hate nitro beers but I think it actually works here.

Pounder: Lemon zest, coriander aroma, not strong. Cloudy amber, fine floaties, firm creamy two finger head. Coriander, bread crust, light on the esters. Grass and clementine finish. Medium body, soft and creamy mouthfeel. No Belgian yeast character, but a fairly good dress up job.
