[ As Bierol El Patrón Prototype Single Hop Mosaic ].
ABV: 8.2%. Clear medium to light yellow colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white to white head. Aroma is moderate malty, pale malt, moderate to heavy hoppy, grapefruit, lemon, green citrus. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a average to long duration, pale malt, grapefruit, green citrus, fruity hops, rich. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. [20190830]

Bottle from the brewery. Straw color with sediment, hazy, small head. Great tropical and citrus aroma, flavor follows with guava and passion fruit. Not as bitterness as I'd expect from a DIPA, but when it comes at the end it's long lasting and a bit astringent. You don't notice the 8.2% alcohol as much due to that. Strong single hop offering!

Lustenau 2018. Thanks! 330 ml. bottle split. Golden orange, citrus, creamy white head. Nose is nicely cheesy, white grape & dash yoghurt. Taste is milky white gape cheese, doesn’t taste like 8 % for sure, very nice, bit milky haze body. 22.10.2018 bottled.

Bottle from SinH4, many thanks Stefan! Pours hazy orange with frothy, white head. Quite thick and juicy. Aroma and taste are peach, passion fruit, some very light citrus. Very light onion too. Very fruity with extremely low bitterness. Oily and chewy. Super drinkable!

330 ml bottle at home thanks to herrklemann! Clear pale golden color with off white head. Malty and hoppy aroma, grass, citrusy fruity, stone and tropical fruits too, light pine, light bready mostly in the beginning. Sweet and light bitter taste like aroma but more fruity, sweet fruity. Medium oily body with soft carbonation.

330ml bottle thanks to herrklemann. Hazy pale golden with a frothy white head. Juicy tropical fruit aroma, grapefruit, passionfruit, citrus peel, resin. Taste of juicy fruits, citrus, grapefruit, mango, passionfruit, piney resin, citrus peel, bitter finish. Medium bodied, soft carbonation. Excellent highly drinkable DIPA, one of the best Mosaic ones I can remember.

Orange-amber, hazy body, with a big, stable, fluffy, lacing, white head.
Aroma of apricot, passion fruit, mango, kiwi, some lychee, citrus, vanilla.
Tastes similar, with more earth, some pone, biscuit.
Medium, oily mouthfeel, with an average carbonation.
Finishes moderate bitter, a bit sweet, a bit dry, slightly warm, fruity, medium juicy, with tropical fruits, some earth, slight biscuit.
Really tasty! Smooth and balanced, with a quite broad malt body, while not too heavy for the ABV. Lovely, diverse juicy and tropical fruit notes throughout. Another outstanding example by the leading Austrian brewery when it comes to IPAs!
