Sampled from bottle @ late RBBSG 2018. Hazy dark orange to reddish color, small off-white head. Smell and taste lightly malts, typical sweet barley wine notes, don't get the cherries. Maybe a bit cherry stone bitter. Medium body and decent carbonation. Ok.

22 oz. bottle, brought to Ale Alpharetta by John. Pours hazy, light orange, with a big, frothy, beige head. The nose is butterscotch, sweet cherries, vanilla, white chocolate, and light toasted oak. Very sweet flavor, practically no bitterness, and just a hint of tartness. Very heavy body, with a creamy, smooth, and luxurious mouthfeel. The alcohol is not hidden, so much as revelled in. Glorious nose and wonderfully cloying flavor. This is an immense and delicious treat of a beer.

On tap at the brewhouse as part of a flight of everything they offered! Clear-ish amber with full, billowy white head. Head lingered down the glass....a beauty! Massive cherry through both the taste and aroma with moderate sourness (tart). Patterns continued down the glass with a full head throughout. This was a fantastic beer!!

Poured from a bottle. Aroma is malty with some caramel and burnt sugar. Light honey notes with a bit of oak. Medium light fruit notes with cherry being the most prevalent. Pours a murky, slightly reddish brown with a small, moderately thick, slightly off white head that recedes to a thin film that lingers. Medium lacing and moderately long legs. Flavor is fairly sweet with a bit of a tart character from the fruit. Some moderate caramel and burnt sugar notes. Light honey. Moderate bitterness and light oak notes. Moderate cherry notes and some light alcohol spice. Mouthfeel is medium full bodied with medium carbonation. Low astringency and low alcohol warmth. Overall, an alright barleywine with a bit fruit character. Fruit isn?t exactly great, and kind of muddles the flavor, but the base beer is decent. As it warms the cherry becomes more prevalent and the beer starts to open up and taste less muddled; and by warm, I mean almost room temperature.
