Boggu is another one of our big flavoursome imperial sour beers. Clocking in at 10%, this imperial Berliner Weisse was re-fermented on a tonne of blackcurrants

Mini can thanks to Billy. It pours cloudy dark purple with a medium foamy purple - white head. The aroma is sweet and juicy, tart and tangy, deep blackcurrant character, ribena, blackberry, jam and fruit cordial. The taste is juicy, tart, tangy, puckering and sour, intense berry character, blackcurrant, bramble, splash of acidity, jammy, sour ribena, granny smith apple skin and some oiliness with and intense sour blackcurrant finish. Medium to fulsome body, moderate carbonation and oily mouth feel. Intense and fun.

Spectacular purple to cardinal red, fully hazy beer under a layered cardinal red to pink head, pretty dense & stable. Berries, yoghurt, fresh leaves. Not many aroma's getting through this poured concrete head. Really sour flavour, tart, tart red berries, lactic acid, lemonjuice. Flavour strangely enough as much red- as blackcurrant, also not-quite-ripe blackberries. Acidthinning does not prevent a bite in this beer, well-filled, carbonation is there if invisible. Punch-in-the-face, but I like it anyway.

Can at Chez Sophie, Shrewsbury. Pours Ribena purple with a pinkish head. Aroma of sweet wine, some cherry, some blackberry. Taste is massive blackberry with lactic notes, intense and tart, with a dying down at the very end. Lightly carbonated. What an adventure!

EU local trade 1/20, danke an minutemat. Saftiger, minimal säuerlicher Beginn. Beerig, der Alkohol ist gut versteckt, die Säure steigt etwas. Spritzig, geballte Fruchtigkeit, Johannisbeere, langer Nachhall, harmonisch, lecker. 14/11/12/12/12/12

Canned end of September 2019. All it promises to be, a high ABV Berliner with buckets of berries (blackcurrant). Lactic sourness, tart fruit but also plenty sweetness. Lots of pulpy fruit. Quite sharp, but in the way you want. Easy abv. Another yummy WB.

250ml can. Pours a hazy deep purple with a lasting pink head, gorgeous colour. Aroma of blackcurrants and booze. Taste is all the blackcurrant, really sharp and sour, like Ribena for alcoholics, a bit of booze and slight burn in the throat. Medium bodied. Intense... glad this is only a 250ml can tbh.

Can from my Secret Santa, many thanks Mat. Bloody red color with thick pinkish head. Aroma of Black currant. Taste, fruity sourness with black currant, lactobacilus, stones. Delicious, dangerously easy drinkable beer.
