Pale chestnut brown with a frothy / creamy off-white head and a soft malty aroma. Light bodied with a touch of creaminess, fruit malt with a hint of floral hop character.

Old rating - As Eagle Bombardier, A pint from the cask in The Portelet Inn, Jersey. Pours a chestnut colour with a off white head. Aromas & tastes of fruits, toffee, caramel & roasted malt. Medium bitter finish. A classic but somewhat outdated these days, just a passable bitter now

16 oz. draft at Village Pub in Naples. Florida. Pours a crystal clear dark ruby color with a small off-white head. Light caramel flavor with a light bitter finish. Smooth and clean. Easy to drink. Maybe a little more bitter than I prefer. Medium body. Medium light carbonation. Medium light bitterness.

It is a typical English ale, the color is copper, thin foam, bitter, hop, well-balanced with the malt, good pint in a pub. 01.04.2016

0.5 l bottle, 5.2% ABV, shared with my father. Amber color, quickly disappearing white head. The aroma is not so intense, some hops and malts. The taste however is way better, malty sweetness followed by bitter hops. Medium bitter finish. Soft carbonation, medium body. Nice drinking beer.

0.5 l can shared with my dad. Pours clear copper with thin head. Hops and grassy notes in aroma with a bittersweet taste. Leaves watery, slightly bitter mouthfeel. Light bodied, softly carbonated. Average.

not much of an aroma, you typical bitter, dry ESB smell. Flavou is much the same, nothing special, english hops, and a nice malt barbone, kinda wattery though. A decent ESB.
