Brewed in collaboration with Restaurant Barr in Copenhagen. We used 01|24, our rye saison, as a base and pitched Brett yeast. We then added green, pink and Sichuan peppercorns. A complex, balanced and spicy dry saison.

Bottle from the brewery in Bermondsey and drunk at home. Hazy pale gold colour lasting white head. Saison yeast aroma. and funnily enough lemon and pepper aroma. Good malty saison. Good pepper on the finish. I really do like the aroma a lot. Just that wild saison aroma. Some lemon curd, a little sweetness, some black pepper. A little bitterness on the finish. Some decent saison yeast character. Some really good complex flavours. I liked it a lot.

Keg @ Tilt, brum. Pours a misty gold, peppery brett on the nose. Taste presents a crisp, peppery, spicy character, some dusty underlying rye alongside some smooth sweet yeast notes. Interesting, peppery saison.

Keg at the brewery tap. Pours hazy orange-gold with a small, creamy, off-white topping. Nice yeast expression in the nose, melon, peach, bubblegum. Medium sweet flavour with with a little citric tang, rindy bitterness, more yeast, mango. Medium bodied with fine, massaging carbonation. A little cedar in the nose, more melon, orange, yeast, bread. Solid.
