Inspired by one of our favorite treats, Dragon’s Milk Reserve: Oatmeal Cookie is carefully aged with cinnamon, oats, brown sugar, raisins, and Madagascar vanilla extract. The familiar flavors of a freshly baked oatmeal cookie make an excellent pair with the rich, warm bourbon notes of our signature barrel-aged stout.

Bottle. A- Raisin, toffee, cream, oatmeal. A- Black color, black liquid, brown head. T- Oatmeal, raisins, cinnamon, brown sugar, mild vanilla. P- Full body, average texture, average carbonation, balanced finish. O- Dragon's Milk variants are all over the place. Some solid and some awful. This was definitely up there with the best of them. Legit tastes like an oatmeal raisin cookie. Aroma is more toffee like but pretty spot on. Not too sweet or cloying. All adjuncts taste natural and blend very well. Solid brew for sure.

On tap at New Holland - The Knickerbocker, pours black with a small brown head. Aroma is loaded with bourbon, gentle cinnamon and molasses. Flavour indeed tastes like an oatmeal cookie, with lots of cinnamon, bourbon, brown sugar, and raisins. A touch of vanilla rounds this out. Nice adjuncts here complement the bourbon. Excellent.

355ml bottle. Jet black colour with small to average, thick, creamy, moderately lasting, minimally lacing, beige to tan head. Chocolately dark malty and slightly spicy aroma, notes of cinnamon, some vanilla, dark chocolate. Taste is sweet, spicy, chocolately dark malty, notes of chocolate cookies, vanilla, cinnamon, oat cookies, fruity hints of plum, raisin, whiffs of coconut, minimally biting, bitter hoppy counterweight. Creamy texture, super-soft, smooth, silky palate; a prickly and biting effect probably stems from carbonation and hop bitterness both, but isn't clearly referable. Adequately deployed adjuncts here.

Bottle taken away from BrewDog Leicester, drunk at home. Very dark brown, slightly translucent, very little head. Chocolate liqueur, vanilla extract, a little bit of stone fruit in the aroma. Extraordinary taste, sweet with raisins, oats, vanilla, plum and chocolate milk with a bitter hoppy note near the end and a boozy finish. Moderate carbonation. Fantastic.
