A very prudent re-brew in title alone! We certainly are now very much here in our lovely shiny new home. This DIPA draws on time spent with friends from the US and
alludes to being the Daddy to the son Even Sharks...
Massive mouthfeel, soft and luscious and hopped to Penryn Post Office and back with Citra, Galaxy and a
touch of Chinook. First Class bevvy.

440ml Can from sophiesbeerstore.co.uk. Opaque golden yellow appearance, frothy lacing. Aroma of sweet bubblegummy stonefruit. Taste is sweet but balanced, nice tropical fruit character veering towards pineapple, grapefruit, assorted stonefruit, bubblegum, papaya. Nicely balanced, sticky sweet, full bodied smooth DIPA.

The Mermaid. Keg. Cloudy gold beer, tidy cream colour head. Smooth palate, a little soft, reasonable fine carbonation. Smooth soft malts, a light creamy sweetness, overall - quite a luxuriant malt base. Soft and slightly ripe mango. Nibbly hop spice. Undercurrent of generic hop fruits. Light smooth hop spicy finish. Cooling pine linger. Smooth and very drinkable.

Can at home, thanks to Kenny for the hook up, 27/01/18. Murky pineapple jus orange with a decent off white covering that thins to a swirl. Nose is raw pineapple, grapefruit, light onion, grassy notes, spruce, sharp citrics. Taste comprises pine needle, light yeast tickle, mineral notes, orange pith, pineapple pulp, grapefruit, citric tinged straw. Medium bodied with bite, fine carbonation, semi drying close peppered with lightly dankened hop bitterness. Solid DIPA but not 'quite' as good as I had hoped for.

Can - big thanks to Ken for picking it up. It pours crazy cloudy creamy pale orange with a medium white head. The aroma is fresh, crazy juicy, tangerine, apricot, peach, orange squash, creamy, mango smoothie, passion fruit, brioche and a touch of greenness. The taste is dry, bitter - sweet, juicy, floury white bread, green, grassy, danky, bit chalky, fruit smoothie, stone fruit, apricot, peach, bit of spice and alcohol with a drying finish. Medium body and fine, foamy carbonation. Flavoursome and well - rounded.
