Very pale and slightly hazy. Attractive, very floral honey character with subtle orange notes. Very full body, very sweet honey character with light fruit and hints of orange. Good mead but not really a world beater. Needs more complexity for that.

Honey and menthol nose. Very pale yellow, still. Honey flavor, balanced, really middle of the road on the sweetness continuum. Alcohol is within acceptable levels.

Bottle from Liquor World in Cambridge. Baby Duvel Tulip. Clear, pale straw gold color. Smells of moldy wood, old leather & warm plastic. Bleh. Taste is rich, but tolerable while cold.Caramelized. Coating, mild rindy flavor that I honestly did not expect. Leafy green. Good texture. Bittersweet finish.

Bottle. Pours lemony yellow. Nose/taste of honey, florals, citrus and orange skin. Grainy texture. Very sweet on the palate. Medium body. A bit "hot". Alcohol very prominent in finish.

750 mL bottle. Pours almost clear with just a light golden hue and a few fine particles. Kind of a plasticy new shore aroma with some mustiness and notes of berry. Flavor is more of orange-flavored honey with that mustiness and a tiny bit of the plasticy note. Fairly tasty despite the "shoe" note.

Bottle (from multiple sources). A bit of yeast in the bottom. Pours with a pale, clear golden body with amazingly strong legs. Aromas of honey, citrus, oak, cinnamon, alcohol, toasted bread. A bit grassy, orange. Flavors of honey, citrus zest, buttered toast, honey, caramel, earth and oak. Syrupy body, medium (on the upper bounds), and a balanced tannic finish.
