0.33 l bottle from 'Het Biermoment', best before November 2021, cellared for over a year. Almost clear, deep ruby with a thin, frothy, almost stable, beige head. Sweetish-malty, slightly fruity aroma of molasses, raisins, some bourbon and traces of pine. Quite sweet, malty, slightly bitter, gently fruity taste of molasses, raisins, bourbon, vanilla and hints of pine, followed by a medium long, quite bitter, gently boozy and a bit resiny finish. Medium to full body, smooth and slightly effervescent mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Quite intense and heavy Barley Wine, a bit sharp but with nice subtle barrel flavours.

Bottle shared at THT January. Bit hazy amber with beige head. Massive Jack Daniel's, vanilla, boozy, toffee, caramel, dry old oak. Quite sweet and bitter. Full bodied with dry oaky finish. I just get oak and boozy, not very good.

Just a light haze on this reddish amber beer, small bubbly pale tan head. Light and fairly dry palate, decent fine carbonation. Thin malts, particularly for the style. Bitter tangy spicy bitterness over a much more pleasant Jack Daniels fruity bourbon. Spicy bitter finish. Drinkable but again fairly harshly bitter barleywine from this brewery.
