Bouteille 33cl, BB02/2019.

Thank you for sharing tderoeck & Rubin77. 330 ml. bottle sampled @ LIBF 2017. Amber brown red. Nose is strangely sweet cherry with sour qualities, low almost Coca-Cola. Taste is sweet cherry candy taste, soap, sugar with sourness, candy-like, weird sweet & sour mix, lemonade & lemon. Thicker cherry syrup sugar body. Peculiar but interesting for sure. Not too sure about this one but largely into it.

br/> Clear red amber beer, small creamy off-white head, unstable, non adhesive. Aroma: fruity, some cherries, tannins, banana peel, weird. MF: soft carbon, medium body. Taste: weird, red wine notes, forest fruits, tannins, unpleasant bitterness. Aftertaste: bit metallic, some coffee, bit sourish, not very enthusiastic about this one...

05/04/2018 - small tasting glass @BBP Brussels. Deep dark red with light tanned head. Nose is red fruits, caramel, cake. Taste is sweet red fruits, syrupy, low sour touch, tart, caramel. Don't know if I would like a 2nd as much but it was surprising in someway. It was way sweeter than expected but in a good way, not at all artificial but real fruit taste.

F: medium, pale tanned, average retention. C: dark brown to dark, opaque. A: caramel, some cherries, bit chocolate, dark dried fruits, plums. T: sour fruitiness, bit cherries, bit brett, bit caramel, hint of plums, aroma is more sweet but taste is nice balanced with fruity and not very sour tones, very refreshing, medium body and carbonation, fully enjoyed, reminds me Oud Bruin or Sour Red/Brown style that I like, 33cl bottle from the brewery.
