On tap @So good (Rome). Nera, densa, impenetrabile, schiuma beige media. Al naso note di cioccolato, caffé, liquirizia. In bocca è equilibrata, attacco dolce con finale amaro medio. Corpo pieno, carbonazione media. Non male.

Pours black, small mocha head. Smell is dry, roasted. Taste is sharp, dry, roasted, coffee. OK. Prety basic Imperial stout.

On tap @So Good (Rome-Italy). Pour a deep dark brown color going black, medium-tall brownish foam. Nose: mh, there is something which I could not pick right. Iron, a very mild aroma of olive. But these notes don’t last that long and the floor is taken over by a pretty English earthy aroma mixed to row roast and grounded coffee. Mouth is fine, a bit thin (which perhaps is even a plus), roast, grounded barley.

25/XI/17 - sample @ Vini, Birre, Ribelli (Brussels) - BB: n/a (2017-1955) thanks to Kraddel, 77ships and other Antwerp and international tickers for sharing today's beers!
Pretty cloudy red brown beer, small to no head. Aroma: alcohol, pretty yeasty, caramel, mocha, sweetish impression, nice roast as well. MF: soft carbon, medium body. Taste: very malty, yeast, mocha, lots of overripe banana, sweet. Aftertaste: mainly sweet, but still very roasted though, chocolate notes, nice roasted finish.
