A Belgian IPA before the holidays? Yes, please!
Wadesda is our ‘freedom label’ when we want to try out something new. It can be anything and its opposite, sour, bitter, … This time we had a new hop to test!
WADESDA #8 (6,2% abv) is amber with orange reflections, intense fruity flavours of peach, orange, apricots and melon, and tropical floral notes. A light sulphur note structures it and gives it character. Its bitterness is fine and thirst-quenching, and her texture is almost silky.
Only available in kegs and in very small amounts. You’ll be able to taste it very soon in many nice bars, the upcoming weekend at Vini Birre Ribelli, and on 2-3 December at Billie’s Craft Beer Fest in Antwerp!

draft @ Vini, Birre, Ribelli 2017.

Thanks for sharing Kraddel + tderoeck +Friends. Sampled draft @ Vini, Birre, Ribelli 2017. Hazy orange, soapy white bubbles. Nose is soapy BE De La Senne with bitter esters, white pepper & melon peel. Bit soapy BE profile but pleasant enough white pepper, bitter esters, melon peel, hay. Body is soap & esters. Pleasant classical De La Senne bitter beer. Not their best but a nice one all the same as we are used to from these guys.

Pretty clear orange beer, small creamy irregular yellowish head, pretty stable, bit adhesive. Aroma: very nice, lovely tropical fruits, grapefruit, pineapple, nice stuff! Little malty as well. MF: soft carbon, full body. Taste: very bitter, fruity notes, bit malty. Aftertaste: hoppy, grassy, bit spicy, some citrus, resinous finish. Very nice beer, especially for a 6.2%!
