(Cask at Craft Beer Co Clerkenwell, London, 23 Nov 2022) Hazy golden colour with foamy, white head. Fruity nose with citrus, orange, honey and flowers. Fruity, floral taste with notes of citrus, orange, honey, marigold and a mild citric/floral bitterness. Medium body, with a certain sweetness. Tasty and refreshing. Nice one.

Half-pint, draught at CBC, Clerkenwell. Unclear golden body, filmy layer, dotted spots on the glass. Floral nose, mid-sweet and mid-dry. Honeyed fruity flavours, grainy malts beneath. Bittersweet tail. Decent. (Clerkenwell, London 04.11.2022).

Cask at CBC, Covent Garden on 29th October 2022. Rated as a novelty ale. Hazy yellowy amber with shallow, loose foam and scant lacing. Honey sweet aroma. Tropical fruits, honey and just the hint of ginger in-mouth. A transient lactic touch and a finish of tangy spiced fruitiness. Full bodied with an engaging texture.

Tight white head stayed on a hazy dark golden coloured body. Honey & sweet fruited aroma. Medium to full bodied, smooth, sticky & cloying on the back. Sweet concentrated fruit juice, tangerine & honey tastes with a long bitter tangy finish. A bit overpowering.

Half cask at Bow Bar. Hazy golden pour with thin, creamy head. Sweet aroma, honey, malty. Taste is sweet malts, light honey and the oats provide a nice creamy consistency.

Cask @ Old Gate, Hebden Bridge. Cloudy light amber with a creamy head. Its honey is smooth tasting, it has a light sweetness and is very pleasant in the palate. Has a hoppy honey-sweet nose.

Sunday 26th Aug 2018; Head of Steam, Birmingham, cask. Dirty dish water look, cloudy and mucky; the head a wispy scum. Strange brew really, some tropical fruit aromas for me, with Mango to the fore, some sweetness in the taste but no honey or oatmeal flavour that I could detect. The look put me off to be honest.
